Overview
We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Program Manager (Digital Career Program) to join ReDI School Germany in Hamburg. In this role, you will ensure the smooth implementation and coordination of the Digital Career Program across Hamburg, Berlin, and NRW, while strengthening collaboration with learners, volunteers, partners, and donors. You will oversee program operations, timelines, reporting, and partnerships, support high-quality online and onsite learning environments, and represent ReDI in partner meetings and community events. This role is ideal for a proactive, structured, and people-oriented program manager with a strong can-do attitude and experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects in an international context.

  • 100% (40 hours per week)

  • Contract from February to December 2026 (including a four-month probation period)

Your mission

As Program Manager – Online Digital Career Program (DCP), you will be responsible for the successful implementation and ongoing development of one of ReDI School’s core programs in Germany to offer free tech education for people with migration and refugee backgrounds. You will ensure high-quality delivery across multiple locations while strengthening local communities of learners, volunteers, partners, and donors especially in Hamburg.

This role combines program management, stakeholder coordination, community building, and operational leadership in a dynamic, mission-driven environment.

Your tasks

Program Implementation & Coordination

  • Ensure consistent, high-quality implementation of the Digital Career Program across Hamburg, Berlin, and NRW

  • Coordinate student recruitment, admissions, and volunteer onboarding in alignment with the Digital programs lead

  • Oversee educational and community related operations to ensure engaging and effective learning environments

  • Manage and coordinate the use of onsite teaching spaces and event venues in Hamburg

  • Ensure availability of all resources required for local delivery (e.g. spaces, laptops, logistics, data)

Partnerships, Corporate Courses & External Relations

  • Manage corporate training courses in collaboration with external partners

  • Coordinate communication and operational alignment with public, corporate, and institutional partners

  • Support the acquisition and engagement of educational and career partners

  • Represent ReDI School at networking events, partner meetings, and community activities

Local Events & Community Engagement

  • Plan, coordinate, and co-deliver Hamburg-based career, educational, and social events

  • Support the organization of community gatherings, celebrations, and networking formats

  • Coordinate with volunteer teams to ensure smooth onsite activities

Reporting, Compliance & Donor Relations

  • Ensure compliance with donor requirements, contracts, and KPIs

  • Oversee monitoring and evaluation of program activities

  • Prepare regular reports for public and private funders

  • Ensure data quality and alignment with organizational reporting standards

Operations, Planning & Timeline Management

  • Maintain an overview of all program activities, timelines, and milestones

  • Plan and coordinate semester schedules and operational workflows

  • Contribute to long-term program planning and strategic development

  • Ensure smooth execution of in-person and hybrid program formats

Team Leadership & Ways of Working

  • Conduct regular 1:1 meetings with program and community team members

  • Facilitate team meetings and support structured, collaborative ways of working

  • Support team members in Agile, prioritization, planning, and coordination

  • Foster a transparent, collaborative, and supportive team culture

  • Ensure a strong understanding of student journeys, volunteer engagement, and partner expectations across the program

Your profile

Required

  • 4–5 years of professional experience as a Program Manager

  • Proven experience in managing complex programs with multiple stakeholders

  • Strong organizational, coordination, and planning skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Fluency in German and English

  • Passionate about social justice and social inclusion

  • Experience working with external partners, donors, or funders

  • Ability to work effectively in multicultural and mission-driven environments

  • Strong adaptability and resilience in fast-changing contexts

  • Flexibility and willingness to occasionally work evenings for events or program needs

  • A strong “can-do” attitude and solution-oriented mindset

  • Relevant industry experience (e.g. tech, education, social impact, corporate partnerships)

  • Located in Hamburg or the surrounding cities, as the program’s main focus is in Hamburg. We have an office in Hamburg

  • Knowledge of the social integration or education sector in Hamburg

Nice to Have

  • Agile or project management certification (e.g. Scrum)

  • Experience with Agile ways of working

  • Skills in mediation or conflict resolution
